A strange mix

A strange mix

I really enjoyed doing the task that the professor asked me to do: create a soundtrack as if Philip Glass and Hans Zimmer made it together.

I started with a very dramatic progression thinking about Interstellar, then I started to add some high-pitched strings making really quick arpeggios, slowly adding more volume until the pattern was clear. I finished the track with a sort of a “happy ending”.
The most difficult thing was to combine together completely different styles and finding a way to imitate these two great composers that I both love.

Next I will talk a bit about other classes that I enjoy very much: classic harmony and counterpoint!
