My first assignment

My first assignment

My first day Saint Louis College of Music was absolutely amazing. These are my classes:

  1. Ear Training
  2. Music Technology
  3. Counterpoint and Orchestration
  4. Classic Harmony and Composition
  5. Film scoring
  6. Piano

My favorite subject is Classic Harmony, but the most creative is Film scoring. Our first assignment was to compose short tracks (max 30 seconds) inspired by two haiku (I will try to translate them in English):

Rapid moon
Treetops are
Filled with rain

The mirror’s
Clear and bright
Among snow flowers

So these are my first attempts:

I was pretty happy about those short tracks, and I think that they could be developed and become board game soundtracks 🙂
